Info

Widowspeak arrives in Paris on November 19, 2026, at the Pop-up du Label. Born in Brooklyn and now centered around Molly Hamilton and Robert Earl Thomas, the duo cultivates a slow, stripped-down indie rock nourished by dream pop, folk and a subtle country twang. On stage, their restrained tension and spare guitars create intimate soundscapes in which Molly’s voice moves straight ahead, without affectation.

The band comes with Roses, their seventh album, which speaks of love without grand speeches, through repeated gestures and everyday details. Scenes unfold like in a film: a leather booth, a red candle, dried flowers, cars and their drivers used as a metaphor for dependence. Widowspeak addresses desire, habits, and that modern drift where we wait for something to happen while pushing on with our heads down. The songs observe the world in small, naturalistic, slightly dark strokes to describe the forces that keep us standing. In concert, these vignettes swell: guitars that leave room to breathe, held-back rhythms, oblique melodies that gently linger. An invitation to be swept up by the setting and to follow the duo’s clear line at the Pop-up du Label in Paris.
