Magic System

Magic System celebrates 30 years of music and puts its zouglou back at the heart of the action. On February 6, 2027, the group will take over the Galaxie Amnéville in Amnéville for an anniversary show that retraces a journey that began in Anoumabo, Abidjan. A’Salfo, Manadja, Goudé and Tino have shaped a sound conceived for the stage, blending group singing, everyday storytelling and a pulse that invites dance.

On the bill are the songs that have marked their path, from “1er Gaou” to “Bouger Bouger,” including “Magic in the Air,” with detours into more recent tracks where their palette expands toward an African pop informed by afro-dance, urban music and coupé-décalé touches. On stage, Magic System relies on memorable choruses, choral energy and tight rhythms, maintaining a constant back-and-forth with the audience.

Thirty years after their beginnings, the quartet retains the melodic simplicity and direct groove that define the group’s identity. The set is conceived as a journey through their history, between a zouglou foundation and contemporary openings. See you on February 6, 2027 at the Galaxie Amnéville.
