Info
On 15 October 2026, Stephan Eicher presents Poussière d’or at the Grand Angle in Voiron. A Swiss singer and songwriter who moved from Grauzone’s new wave to songs with pop and folk contours, he has built since the 1980s a singular repertoire where melancholy flirts with a rock impetus. On stage, Eicher navigates between acoustic and more electric textures, singing in French, German, English or Swiss German, with a supple way of making the intimate and the dynamic converse.
Carried by lyrics often written with Philippe Djian, his clear, unadorned singing rests on precise arrangements, sometimes stripped back, sometimes more expansive. Poussière d’or announces new pages and rearranged titles, forging bridges with his landmark albums, from Chansons bleues to Homeless Songs. Between folk-tinged ballads, pop pulses and discreet electronic touches, Eicher cultivates closeness, alternating confidences and surges of intensity, and restores depth to both his melodies and his words. A concert conceived as a journey through several languages, eras and moods, bringing the listener close to what gives strength to his writing and his performance.
