Info
On May 20, 2026 at MCH Herning Kongrescenter in Herning, Anne Linnet takes the stage for a concert that reconnects with the key moments of her songwriting across decades. Emerging in the 1970s with the all-female group Shit & Chanel, she forged a Danish pop rock sound fed by folk and chanson, before opening a solo path with Kvindesind in 1978, a cycle of songs set to poems by Tove Ditlevsen. In the early 1980s she formed Anne Linnet Band alongside Sanne Salomonsen and Lis Sørensen, then pushed into darker, synth-driven textures with the new wave project Marquis de Sade. Her solo releases, from the eponymous Anne Linnet (1981) to Barndommens gade (1986), kept a focus on voice, clear melodies and finely worked pop arrangements, while extending her dialogue with literature and composing for cinema. On stage, her repertoire brings together these threads: intimate narratives, love and relationships, questions of gender and social life, carried by Danish lyrics and a direct, melodic approach. This date offers a panorama of a catalog that moves between solo work, collective projects and music for the screen, with songs drawn from each era and arranged to keep the storytelling upfront.
