Arlo Parks « Desire Tour »

Arlo Parks brings her Desire Tour to Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne on 30 October 2026. The singer and writer, who grew up in West London, blends restrained indie-pop melodies with contemporary R&B and hints of bedroom pop. Since “Cola” (2018) and the EPs “Super Sad Generation” and “Sophie,” she has been painting clear portraits of coming-of-age, relationships and mental health — with a warm voice and a sense of rhythm that also draws on poetry and spoken word. Her debut album “Collapsed in Sunbeams” followed in 2021, and “My Soft Machine” in 2023.

Live, Parks and her band unfold precisely crafted grooves: spare guitars, floating keys and crisp drums. The songs leave space for storytelling, shifting between flowing singing and spoken lines while keeping the focus on distinct hooks. The set brings together tracks from both albums, early highlights and selected collaborations from the British pop and alternative scene. The show favors calm and momentum in small waves, words that feel close, and arrangements that emphasize detail — focused, intimate and direct.
