Les Wriggles

Les Wriggles return to the stage on October 16, 2026 at the Radiant - Bellevue in Caluire‑et‑Cuire. Born in the café‑theatre scene of the 1990s, they shaped a francophone multi‑voiced song form, sitting between concert and theatre, where humour intersects everyday scenes. With guitars slung over their shoulders and a precise choral performance, the group unfolds a repertoire that mixes sung sketches, off‑beat ballads and short theatrical scenes, with the lyrics at its core.

From their early albums Justice avec des saucisses and Ah bah ouais, mais bon… to Moi d’abord and then Tant pis ! Tant mieux !, their method hasn’t really changed: tight harmonies, collective songwriting, a socially observant outlook and irony. The lineup has evolved over the years—after a pause and a subsequent return—by refreshing the repertoire and creating new songs in the same vein.
