Dick Annegarn

On 1 October 2026, Dick Annegarn returns to the stage at the Ponant in Pacé. A Franco‑Dutch singer‑songwriter who has long lived on a farm at the foot of the Pyrenees, he unfolds fifty years of songs that look the earth squarely in the eye. Originally an agronomy student, he brought landscapes, trees, animals and simple gestures into song. People come for “Bruxelles” and stay for “Sacré Géranium,” “Vélo va,” “L’Orage,” “Quelle belle vallée,” “Bébé éléphant” or “Mireille,” all titles that have become familiar.

A precise guitarist with a gravelly voice and an unadorned presence, Annegarn moves between strings, harmonica, light percussion and a few a cappella moments. His repertoire, covered over time by -M-, Calogero, Raphaël, Nolwenn Leroy, Bashung, Souchon, Arno, Bénabar and Dany Boon, has retained that artisanal grain so characteristic of him.

For this date, the audience is invited to bring plants, shrubs or flowers to dress the stage and to take them home afterwards — a nod to his recurring theme: tending the nature of which we are children. Even his guitar joins in: a green instrument made by luthier Thomas Fejoz.
