Info

Puma Blue, the project of South London musician, producer and songwriter Jacob Allen, plays Lee’s Palace, 529 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Canada, on March 4, 2026. Now based in Atlanta, he first surfaced with the EPs Swum Baby (2017) and Blood Loss (2018) before releasing In Praise of Shadows in 2021, followed by the concert film A Late Night Special. His songs balance intimacy and space, built around a weightless voice, patient arrangements and a feel for silence. On stage, he performs with longtime collaborators, leaving room for improvisation and a raw, focused energy. After the more collective and meditative Holy Waters (2023), he returned in 2025 with antichamber, a minimal set of songs that leans into the stark, close-up core of his writing.

Opening is Salami Rose Joe Louis, the Californian musician and producer Lindsay Olsen from the Bay Area. With a background in climate science, she blends experimental pop, jazz harmonies, instrumental hip-hop and lo‑fi electronic soul into compact, collage-like tracks. Signed to Brainfeeder, she released the sci‑fi‑tinged Zdenka 2080 in 2019, then Akousmatikous in 2022, pushing toward more abstract forms and narrative sound design. On stage, she extends that intimate, offbeat approach, moving between beat-driven textures, dreamy vocals and DIY electronics.
