Info
David Hallyday returns to the stage with Requiem pour un Fou, a project conceived as a dialogue between two stories: his own and Johnny Hallyday’s. A singer‑songwriter, he wrote Sang pour Sang, his father’s album that sealed their reconciliation. Here, he revisits Johnny’s songs and makes them resonate alongside his own repertoire—not by imitation, but with the perspective of a son and the ear of a musician who knows this material from the inside.
On April 1, 2026, at the Zénith de Rouen Le Grand‑Quevilly, David Hallyday will present a concert built like a narrative thread: memories, legacy, transmission, songs that speak as much of the stage as of family. Between rock energy and more intimate breathing spaces, he moves between his father’s classics and the tracks that have punctuated his own career, tracing a bridge between two Hallyday generations. It’s a way to hear familiar songs differently and to rediscover an artist who keeps moving forward, true to his story.
