Julien Clerc

Julien Clerc has spent more than five decades on stage with a voice instantly recognizable and songs that have accompanied several generations. First brought to public attention in 1968 with La Cavalerie, he went on to follow with Ce n’est rien, Si on chantait, Ma préférence… Between chanson and pop, he refines melody and the precise word, supported by a piano that has never left him.

He will perform on 12 September 2027 at the Zénith Nantes Métropole Saint-Herblain. As a prelude to a tour announced for the Zénith venues across France in autumn 2027, he will present a repertoire that spans the years, from classics to more recent tracks, in arrangements conceived for large halls. Forty years after being the first artist to play at the Palais Omnisports de Bercy, he will return there to celebrate his 80th birthday on 9 October 2027. In Nantes, one finds again the common thread running through his work: love, the passage of time and ordinary lives, with the clear, melodic writing that has become his hallmark.
