Info
Rick Astley brings his unmistakable voice and pop-soul craft to The Piece Hall in Halifax on May 28, 2027. Built on sharp melodies and that warm, deep tone that defined late-80s British pop, his songs balance dance-pop drive with a smooth, soulful edge. Expect the big hooks from his breakthrough era alongside later material that leans into classic pop-rock and grown-up soul, with writing that feels more personal while keeping the same direct, singalong clarity.
Whether you’ve followed him from Whenever You Need Somebody and Hold Me in Your Arms, or you rediscovered him later through rickrolling and stayed for the songs, this show is a chance to hear a catalogue that moves easily between upbeat hits and steadier, soulful moments. A concert for anyone who likes their pop melodic, tight, and delivered without fuss.
