Info
On February 5, 2027, Bernard Lavilliers took the stage at the Zénith Nantes Métropole in Saint-Herblain. A travelling songwriter, he has carried since the 1970s a body of work nourished by ports, wandering and social realities, where rock, reggae, Brazilian rhythms, Caribbean colours and touches of jazz intersect. On stage, he unfolds this sonic geography with a band crafted for open arrangements—between guitars, brass and percussion—and conveys the urban and maritime atmospheres that run through his repertoire.
The concert builds bridges between different periods, from O Gringo or État d’urgence to more recent pieces such as those from Clair-obscur. Narrative lyrics, a subdued groove, expansive melodic lines: Lavilliers opts for continuity, reworking in the present songs that have travelled widely. It is a passage through his logbooks, between unadorned chronicles and blended rhythms, carried by a deep voice that sets the scene in a few images.
