Redferrin

Between White House, a small town in Tennessee, and Arenacross circuits, Redferrin’s path began in motorcycle racing before a injury redirected him to songwriting. Under his full name Blake Redferrin, he first made his mark in Nashville as a writer for mainstream country, penning songs for Florida Georgia Line including “Lil Bit”, “Countryside”, “Can’t Help Myself” and “Where’d You Learn How to Do That”. In 2023 he co-wrote “Honky Tonkin’ About” for Canadian duo The Reklaws; the track reached number one on the Canadian country chart and received recognition at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards. At the same time, Redferrin has been developing his solo country project, combining narrative songwriting, rural imagery and contemporary production with rock and urban touches. His debut single “Red In My Last Name” was released in 2021, followed in 2023 by “Jack and Diet Coke” — certified Gold by the RIAA in 2024 — and “Just Like Johnny” in 2024. Signed to Warner Music Nashville, he released the EP Old No. 7 in 2024, which placed him on Billboard’s Heatseekers charts, and in 2025 he followed with a second EP, Some City, Somewhere, confirming his position between country heritage and a more hybrid approach.
