La La Love You

Formed in Parla, in the Community of Madrid, La La Love You has since the mid-2000s developed a repertoire that sits between pop punk, indie rock, power pop and pop rock, with songs that are direct, melodic and often carried by a seemingly light tone, yet infused with a very upfront band energy. The quartet, now composed of Roberto Amor, David Merino, Mía Berlín and Óscar Hoyos, first circulated on the Spanish indie scene with early EPs and then a debut album, Umm... Que rico! in 2008, before continuing with La La Love You in 2013. Their trajectory shifted scale at the end of the 2010s with 'El fin del mundo', a single released in 2019 with Olaya Pedrayes of Axolotes Mexicanos, which more widely established the name La La Love You in the Spanish pop rock landscape. Keeping their guitar-bass-drums base, the group then expanded their writing toward a more open pop, always concise, where immediate choruses, references to popular culture and a sense of counterpoint between euphoria and disenchantment occupy a central place. Blockbuster, published in 2023, marks this continuity with several collaborations, notably Samuraï, Allison, RENEE and Estrella Morente. Since then La La Love You has established itself on festival and venue circuits in Spain, with appearances also in Latin America.
