Arde Bogotá

From Cartagena in southeastern Spain, Arde Bogotá has, since the late 2010s, positioned itself within Spanish-language alternative rock, combining electric power with a clear-eyed view of relationships and the vulnerabilities of a generation. The band, formed around Antonio García’s voice with a core of guitar, bass and drums, drew attention with the EP 'El tiempo y la actitud' in 2019, which established Arde Bogotá’s signature between indie rock, post-punk touches and direct choruses. The first album 'La Noche,' released in 2021, deepened this nocturnal aesthetic with a denser sound and a marked focus on dynamics between calm verses and saturated build-ups, while 'Cowboys de la A3' in 2023 broadened the scope toward a more narrative rock, threaded with references to the road and contemporary Spanish landscapes. On stage, Arde Bogotá operates in the circuit of mid-sized venues and rock festivals in Spain, building a repertoire that relies on a solid rhythmic foundation, contrasting guitars and particular attention to the lyrics — elements that locate the band within the new generation of Spanish rock sung in Castilian.
