Dani Fernández

Active on the Spanish pop scene, Dani Fernández is a singer-songwriter from Alcázar de San Juan in the province of Ciudad Real. Spotted at a young age in TV talent shows, he represented Spain at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 before joining the late-2000s boy band Auryn — a pop group that gave him national exposure with a repertoire of mainstream pop and ballads. After Auryn split, Dani Fernández focused on a solo project anchored in Spanish-language pop, with pop-rock touches and songwriting close to the singer-songwriter tradition. His first solo album, “Incendios” (2019), establishes a world of guitar-led songs, direct melodies and lyrics centered on relationships and coming of age, while “Entre las dudas y el azar” (2022) continues this line with bolder production and arrangements shaped by group work in the studio. Regularly present on club circuits and mid-size venues in Spain, Dani Fernández frequently collaborates with other musicians from the new Iberian pop generation while developing a vocal range that alternates intimate ballads and more rhythmic tracks designed for live performance.
