Claire Rosinkranz

Based in California, American singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz crafts indie pop that blends airy melodies, a subtle groove, and an everyday, conversational tone. Raised in a musical household, she began writing early with her father — a producer and frequent co-writer — before sharing her first tracks online in her teens. Her profile expanded in 2020 with the single “Backyard Boy,” from the EP BeVerly Hills BoYfRiEnd (2020), where a mix of bedroom pop, R&B influences, and funk accents takes shape in short, hooky formats. She followed with the EP 6 Of A Billion (2021), extending this approach with highly conversational songwriting focused on relationships, boredom, and the uncertainties of late adolescence. Signed to Republic Records, she then released her debut full-length, Just Because (2023), marked by more assertive yet still minimalist production, alternating between stripped-back ballads and uptempo cuts, and steadily establishing herself on the North American alternative pop scene.
