Solence

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Solence creates modern rock with a strong electronic edge, positioned at the crossroads of alternative metal, melodic metalcore and pop. The band began online with rock-style covers of pop and electronic tracks and has gradually established an original repertoire in which distorted guitars, layered synths and highly melodic vocals take center stage. They released their first full-length album, “Brothers,” in 2020, followed by “Direction” the same year, then “Deafening” and “Primetime” in 2021, before continuing with “Diremist” (2021) and “Hope is a Cult” (2023), while also putting out digital singles. Solence’s music favors direct song structures, choir-like sung choruses and sharp contrasts between calm verses and heavier passages, allowing the band to move comfortably within metal and metalcore scenes as well as a broader rock audience, both live and on audio and video platforms.
