TiaCorine

Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, TiaCorine has since the early 2010s been developing a hybrid rap that blends southern trap, pop-rap melodies, and anime-inspired visual references, in a writing style that is often vivid, offbeat and changing. Active since 2013, she circulated her early tracks before signing with South Coast Music Group, then structuring her discography with the EPs 34Corine in 2020, The Saga of 34Corine in 2021, Pussy in 2021 and Almost There in 2024. Her debut album I Can’t Wait appeared in 2022 and accompanied a rise in visibility notably driven by the tracks Lotto and FreakyT, two songs that circulated widely online. TiaCorine then built her place on an American rap scene open to crossings between trap, singing, humor and alternative aesthetics, while maintaining a clear anchoring in the Southern United States. Over the releases, TiaCorine collaborates with Kenny Beats, DaBaby, Latto, Key Glock, Curtis Waters, Denzel Curry or A$AP Ferg, and follows with opening acts and tours, until leading her own tour as a headliner in 2024. Her rap plays on tonal contrasts, flexible flows and either nerve-wracking or lighter productions, with a marked attention to image and the fictional universes that extend her music.
