PARTYOF2

Based in Los Angeles, PARTYOF2 is an American hip‑hop duo made up of Swim and Jadagrace, a direct offshoot of the collective grouptherapy. The project began in 2019 around Swim, Jadagrace, TJOnline and Rhea, who all share a background as young artists and performers. Under the name grouptherapy., the collective coalesced through singles released by each member, compiled in 2020 on the EP This Is Not The Album, and later on the mixtape There Goes The Neighborhood the same year, following the singles Raise It Up!, Watercolor and Blackout. Rhea then left the group, which continued as a trio and released the EP Truth Be Told in 2022, highlighted by the track Disco Pantz, a collaboration with Rejjie Snow and Tinashe. In 2023 grouptherapy. issued their debut studio album I Was Mature For My Age, But I Was Still A Child, preceded by the singles Funkfest, Nasty and Peak; an expanded edition followed in 2024 alongside the departure of TJOnline. Swim and Jadagrace relaunched the project as PARTYOF2 in 2025 with the single and EP We Owe You An Explanation — their first record for Def Jam Recordings — where the duo emphasize a rap grounded in the pair’s energy and narrative lyricism. That same year PARTYOF2 released the album Amerika's Next Top Party!, also on Def Jam, led by the tracks JUST DANCE 2, FRIENDLY FIRE and OUT OF BODY, which consolidated the duo’s identity on the Los Angeles hip‑hop scene.
