Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Bktherula develops a melodic rap that blends local trap, cloud rap and more experimental touches. Part of the SoundCloud generation born in the early 2000s, she first released music online before gaining notice with tracks like “Tweakin’ Together” and “Left Right”, which established her repetitive lyricism and airy atmospheres.
