'68
Formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2013, '68 develops abrasive rock that sits between noise rock, punk blues and post‑hardcore, built around a stripped‑down guitar‑and‑drums setup. Fronted by singer‑guitarist Josh Scogin, formerly of Norma Jean and The Chariot, the duo favors a very direct approach based on improvisation, sudden dynamic shifts and an intentionally raw sound. After the debut EP “Midnight” (2013), '68 released the album “In Humor and Sadness” (2014), which established them on North American independent rock stages, followed by “Two Parts Viper” (2017) and “Give One Take One” (2021), with the EP “Love Is Ain’t Dead” appearing in 2020. On stage, '68 cultivates a highly physical and spontaneous performance that channels hardcore energy into a more stripped format, marked by dislocated blues riffs, often raspy vocals and heavy use of feedback. The duo operates within a touring and festival network that brings together punk, metal and alternative rock acts, while maintaining a tight identity centered on Scogin’s personality and the guitar‑drums dialogue.
