Pip Millett

Born in Manchester, Pip Millett develops a writing style situated between contemporary R&B, neo-soul and alternative soul, with a hushed vocal, often slow tempos and a marked attention to both melodies and intimate narratives. Active since the late 2010s, Pip Millett first drew attention after appearing on Joe Hertz’s Goodbye Kisses in 2017, before releasing her own tracks in 2018, including Make Me Cry, which quickly established her sober and introspective universe. Her trajectory unfolds between Manchester and London, in a circuit mixing independent releases, occasional collaborations with Joe Hertz, Feiertag, Moods or Gotts Street Park, and appearances on British soul, R&B and jazz-pop stages. Pip Millett released the EP Do Well in 2019, then Lost In June in 2020, where her approach expands while maintaining vocal restraint.
