Full Crate

Born in the Netherlands into a family of Armenian origin, Full Crate has since the late 2000s developed a path that sits at the crossroads of hip-hop, alternative R&B, future soul and bass-heavy electronic music, with an approach that blends production, DJing and songwriting. Initially noticed for his beats and sets, he established himself in a Dutch scene attentive to the intersections between groove, rap and contemporary soul, while circulating his music internationally. Full Crate also worked as part of a duo under the name Full Crate x Mar, a project focused on a soft, nocturnal R&B. Over time, his aesthetic shifted from beatmaking-driven instrumentals to more vocal formats, built around slow melodies, understated rhythms and restrained arrangements. Among his verifiable discographic benchmarks are the EP In All Honesty in 2020, followed by the album A Kid From Yerevan in 2023, where Full Crate more directly addresses his family heritage and his relationship to identity. His collaborations with voices from R&B, soul and hip-hop, such as BJ The Chicago Kid, Kyle Dion, Gaidaa, Naomi Sharon, D Smoke or T3, extend this trajectory without altering its central axis: precise, intimate music grounded in the meeting between club culture, R&B songwriting and hip-hop sensibility.
