Cian Ducrot

Raised in Passage West near Cork in a Franco-Irish family, Cian Ducrot began with a classical education—attending Wells Cathedral School and later the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied flute before turning to pop songwriting. His career took shape with the mixtape Started in College in 2020, followed by the EP Make Believe in 2021, which established a vocal-centred pop/indie-pop style focused on ballads and straightforward lyrics, sometimes drawing on his classical background. He then released a string of singles, including "All for You" and "I'll Be Waiting", which broadened his audience across the UK and Europe. His debut album, Victory, appeared in 2023, continuing a melodic, piano-led pop approach—between sentimental songs, expansive choruses and contemporary production. Cian Ducrot has also shared tracks with Cate and Ella Henderson, and toured alongside Ella Henderson and later Ed Sheeran. In 2025 he released his second album, Little Dreaming, and appears as a co-writer on SZA's "Saturn", extending a trajectory that sits between personal songwriting and mainstream pop.
