Benjamin Fröhlich

Based in Munich, Benjamin Fröhlich is part of the German electronic scene as a DJ, producer and co‑founder of the label Permanent Vacation. Before his label work, he ran a record shop in his hometown—an anchor that fostered a wide dancefloor culture reflected in both his selections and his productions. At Permanent Vacation he helps steer a catalogue that moves between house, disco, italo, balearic and electronic pop, with artists such as Todd Terje, John Talabot, Mano Le Tough, Lauer and Red Axes. At the same time he has built a personal discography of maxis, remixes and club‑oriented tracks, blending house grooves, disco bass, synths with cosmic hues and a colder nocturnal tension. His sets follow the same line, combining the heritage of 1980s and 1990s dance music with a contemporary reading of house and disco, arranged for the club without being limited to a single register. Benjamin Fröhlich thus appears as a regular presence on the European circuits of independent electronic and club music.
