Alex Kennon

Italian DJ and producer based in Ibiza, Alex Kennon situates his work at the intersection of house and techno, with a marked taste for groove, vocals and textures that can recall both New York house and more acid-tinged or Detroit-influenced elements. Trained in classical guitar from a young age, Alex Kennon maintains in his productions a particular attention to structure and dynamics, far from a confrontational techno. His trajectory has been built through a series of singles, EPs and remixes released on labels such as Rebellion, Crosstown Rebels, Saved and Bedrock, as well as through occasional collaborations, notably with Pirupa. Active on Ibiza’s club scene, where he plays regularly, Alex Kennon also circulates across European stages with a repertoire designed for the dancefloor but committed to musicality. In this way he develops a club aesthetic that is both flexible and tense, nourished by influences ranging from rock, soul and new wave to a direct, mobile and uncluttered club electronic sound.
