Sigrid

Born in Ålesund, Norway, in 1996, Sigrid Solbakk Raabe developed an early interest in songwriting and began performing as a teenager in her region before entering the Scandinavian pop scene. Under the name Sigrid she signed with Island Records in 2016 and gradually gained international attention with the single and EP “Don’t Kill My Vibe” in 2017, followed by “Strangers” the same year. Her work sits within pop and electropop, featuring direct melodies and catchy choruses. Sigrid’s music combines synthetic keyboard textures, electronic rhythms and more organic elements, with a prominent vocal and lyrics focused on independence, relationships and the uncertainties of adulthood. She released her debut studio album, “Sucker Punch,” in 2019 and “How To Let Go” in 2022, both confirming a move toward energetic pop with indie influences. Active across European and North American stages, both as a headliner and as a supporting act, Sigrid alternates club shows, festivals and large venues, pursuing a career built on accessible songwriting and a distinctive sonic identity within contemporary pop.
