LÉON

LÉON, the stage name of Lotta Lindgren, has been developing English-language pop from Stockholm that merges indie pop, hushed soul and synth-pop, with songwriting centered on melodies and shifts in intensity rather than effects. Active as a solo artist since 2015 after singing in a hip‑hop and soul group in her teens, LÉON emerged with the single “Tired of Talking” and followed with the EPs Treasure (2015), For You (2017) and Surround Me (2017). Her career quickly established itself across Sweden, the UK and the US, with appearances at festivals like Eurosonic and several tours. She went on to release three studio albums — LÉON (2019), Apart (2020) and Circles (2022) — which extend a melodic pop aesthetic, sometimes pared back, sometimes more electronic, always marked by a soulful sensibility.
