Klaudia Gawlas
Born in Cieszyn, Poland in 1981 and based with her family in Passau from 1990, Klaudia Gawlas developed an early, hands-on relationship with music, first through keyboards and guitar, before turning to mixing during a year-long stay in the United States, where she learned from DJs rooted in hip‑hop. Back in Germany, she moved toward techno and began performing publicly in 2008. Her career has been built on club and festival stages across Europe, with appearances at Mayday, Nature One, Time Warp, Airbeat One, Sea You and Parookaville. Her sound is rooted in frontal, physical techno—marked by fast rhythms, constant tension and a direct approach to the dancefloor—while retaining a more narrative dimension in set construction. On the production side, her discography includes the album Zeitgeist (2013, Masters of Disaster), Vision (2016, Credo), and a series of EPs on various labels, including Playground EP with Eric Sneo (2011), Papillon (2013), Lost Control EP (2017) and ABC with Drumcomplex (2018). Klaudia Gawlas continues to focus on club techno, alternating between DJ sets and productions.
