Twilight Force

Born in Falun, Sweden, in the early 2010s, Twilight Force occupies the melodic power metal scene with a pronounced symphonic bent and a universe wholly focused on heroic fantasy. Founded around composers Daniel Beckman and Philip Lindh, Twilight Force developed a fast, highly arranged power metal style combining film-like orchestrations, choirs, anthem-like group vocals and classical music influences. Their debut album, Tales of Ancient Prophecies (2014), established a storyline set in a fictional realm called The Twilight Kingdoms; Heroes of Mighty Magic, released in 2016 on Nuclear Blast, further emphasized the project’s orchestral and narrative dimension. After vocalist Christian Hedgren left in 2017, the band recruited Italian singer Alessandro Conti, who appears on Dawn of the Dragonstar (2019) and At the Heart of Wintervale (2023), consolidating Twilight Force’s vocal identity. On stage the band extends its concept visually through fantasy-inspired costumes and pseudonyms, and primarily tours Europe’s melodic and symphonic metal circuits, presenting a setlist constructed like a series of chapters unified by the same narrative imagination.
