Thomas Azier

Born in the Netherlands in 1987, Thomas Azier has gradually made his mark on the European scene by blending pop songcraft with electronic textures. Initially based in Berlin in the late 2000s and later dividing his time between Germany and France, Azier builds a synth-pop world characterized by dark, melodic atmospheres and songwriting that centers on the voice and emotional tension. After two EPs, “Hylas 001” (2012) and “Hylas 002” (2013), he released his debut album “Hylas” in 2014, where new wave, electronic pop and more orchestral touches intersect. With “Rouge” (2017) he refined a more organic palette, adding more piano, guitars and vocal arrangements. The album “Love, Disorderly” (2020) continued this move toward introspective pop, carefully detailed in its production. Alongside his own releases, Thomas Azier collaborates in the studio with other artists, notably Stromae, and regularly performs at clubs and festivals across Europe.
