Little Big

Formed in Saint Petersburg in 2013 around Ilia Prusikin and filmmaker Alina Pyazok, Little Big initially took the form of a band before becoming a duo composed of Ilia Prusikin and Sofya Tayurskaya. The project was built on a crossing of EDM, rave, punk, hardbass and pop, with short, direct, rhythmic tracks, often conceived with a strong visual extension. From the early tracks, including Everyday I’m Drinking, Little Big stood out for an absurd, satirical and deliberately caricatured aesthetic, fed as much by internet culture as by the codes of the Russian alternative scene. The group released the albums With Russia from Love in 2014, Funeral Rave in 2015, Antipositive, Pt. 1 and Antipositive, Pt. 2 in 2018, then Lobster Popstar in 2024. Little Big’s international audience broadened with Skibidi in 2018, then Uno in 2020, a track slated for Eurovision before that year's edition was canceled. Over time, Little Big circulated between clubs, European festivals and broader tours, while multiplying collaborations with artists such as Tommy Cash, Clean Bandit, Oliver Tree, Netta or bbno$. Since Prusikin and Tayurskaya left Russia in 2022, Little Big has continued its activity from abroad, in a refocused but faithful format to its blend of upfront dance music, black humor and offbeat staging.
