Baby Lasagna

Under the name Baby Lasagna, Marko Purišić has led a solo project since 2023, launched in Croatia after a stint with the metal rock band Manntra. Born in Umag, he has built a hybrid aesthetic that mixes pop punk, alternative rock, danceable electronics and touches of metal, with tracks grounded in edgy guitars, driving rhythms and very direct vocal writing. Baby Lasagna released a first single, “IG Boy”, in 2023, then reached a wider audience with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”, a song presented at Dora 2024, Croatia’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Winning that contest, Baby Lasagna went on to represent Croatia at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, where he finished in second place. This trajectory places Baby Lasagna on a European stage beyond the regional scene, while extending work begun in rock and metal circuits. His repertoire remains focused on a clear crossover between stage energy, pop formats and electronic production, in a formula conceived for live performance as much as for the studio track.
