Bruno Mars

Born in Hawaii on October 8, 1985, singer and songwriter Bruno Mars—whose real name is Peter Hernandez—grew up in a family of musicians and began making music at a very young age. In his youth, he performed in small local venues in Honolulu before taking the plunge and embarking on his musical journey. After finishing his studies, Bruno Mars moved to Los Angeles. In 2010, the release of the hits “Billionaire,” by Travie McCoy, and “Nothin’ on You,” by rapper B.o.B—both featuring Bruno Mars—brought the young musician to prominence. A year later, Bruno Mars released his debut album, “Doo-Woops & Hooligans,” on the Elektra label. The album enjoyed strong success thanks to its variety and quality, and the track “Just the Way You Are” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. After a series of concerts and an extensive tour, Bruno Mars recorded his second studio album, released in 2012 under the title “Unorthodox Jukebox.” In 2013, as part of the album’s promotional tour, Bruno Mars stopped in Bercy to perform a concert.
