JUNG

On the Swedish pop scene, JUNG refers to a duo formed by musicians and songwriters Tom and Henrik, active since the latter half of the 2010s. Working in a pop register with indie contours, JUNG crafts melodic songs carried by clean guitars, subtle synth pads and vocal arrangements focused on harmonies, with lyrics that deal mainly with romantic relationships and personal doubts. The first tracks were released digitally, which allowed the band to gain attention outside Sweden and quickly secure placements on alternative pop playlists. Across singles and EPs, JUNG has refined an aesthetic that ranges from mid‑tempo ballads to more rhythmically driven pieces, occasionally incorporating elements of electropop and light rock. The duo translates this sound to the stage with an expanded lineup, playing intimate clubs as well as festival stages, and frequently collaborates on songwriting and production with other figures in Scandinavian pop, gradually embedding JUNG in an international contemporary pop network.
