A$AP Rocky

Born Rakim Mayers, A$AP Rocky is an American rapper who grew up in Harlem. He honed his skills in rap battles and, at the same time, became a member of the A$AP Mob collective, which he joined in 2007. In 2011, A$AP Rocky released his first project, LiveLoveA$AP, and generated buzz with the tracks "Peso" and "Purple Swag", which were viewed thousands of times within a few days. Gradually, A$AP Rocky built a solid musical reputation, to the point that he opened for Drake on his tour. After the EP Goldie, released in 2012, he returned in 2013 with his second album, Long.Live.A$AP, featuring collaborations with artists such as Santigold, Skrillex and Danger Mouse. Following this album, A$AP Rocky performed in France in 2013 at festivals and a series of concerts.
