Jeremy Olander

Born in Fairfax, USA, and raised in Stockholm, producer and DJ Jeremy Olander belongs to a lineage of progressive house and melodic techno centered on harmony and atmospheric textures. He emerged in the early 2010s via Eric Prydz's Pryda Friends label; his early maxi singles caught the attention of the European club scene before he expanded his discography to other labels oriented toward melodic house and techno. His tracks are marked by long builds, detailed synth lines and a restrained rhythmic approach that favors tension and progression over immediate impact. Alongside releases under his own name, he issues darker, more stripped‑back material under the alias Dhillon, allowing him to explore a more direct techno aesthetic. In 2015 he launched the Vivrant label, a platform for his own projects and for inviting other producers from that melodic sphere. Active on club and festival stages in Europe, North America and Asia, he frequently plays extended sets and occasional residencies; in 2019 he released the mixed compilation "Balance Presents Jeremy Olander", which synthesizes a DJing approach based on continuity and sonic storytelling.
