Dr. Fresch

Active on the North American house scene, Dr. Fresch is a Los Angeles–based producer and DJ who came to prominence in the mid‑2010s with a string of club-ready remixes and singles. The Dr. Fresch project occupies a meeting point between house, bass house and hip‑hop influences, featuring prominent basslines, sturdy rhythms and frequent use of spoken or rapped vocals, in a sound close to g‑house and midtempo. Equally present in clubs and at major electronic festivals in the United States and abroad, Dr. Fresch frequently collaborates with producers from the contemporary bass and house scenes as well as MCs rooted in rap or trap, reinforcing the hybrid dimension of his music. Alongside releases on various electronic labels, he runs his own imprint, House Call Records, to release his own productions and those of allied artists, and hosts regular mix series that showcase the muscular yet melodic house aesthetic that defines the Dr. Fresch project.
