Franck Roger

French producer and DJ based in Paris, Franck Roger has developed since the late 1990s a career firmly rooted in house music, with a marked taste for its deep, soulful and afro forms. Franck Roger builds a supple, warm sound nourished by the legacy of Chicago and New York, but also by jazz, funk and percussive music, featuring round basses, soulful vocals and a groove approach that favors duration and nuance. His productions began circulating around the turn of the 2000s and subsequently fed a very abundant discography of maxis, remixes and collaborations, released both on his own structures, including Real Tone Records, and on several international house labels. Over the years he alternates studio work and DJ activity, in sets that range from deep house to classic house with detours into broken beat, afro and soulful. His trajectory remains connected to a Parisian scene open to intersections between house, jazz and African American music, while establishing a lasting presence on club circuits in France and internationally.
