Andreas Odbjerg
Born in Odense, Denmark, in 1987, Andreas Odbjerg first gained recognition as a songwriter before making his name in Danish pop as a solo artist. After a notable appearance on the Danish show Voice in 2012, he spent a period in a duo under the name Andreas, before launching his solo career from 2018. His writing, also used by other artists on the Danish scene such as Drew Sycamore, Ericka Jane or Malte Ebert, accompanies a Danish-language pop aesthetic that is sung, direct and melodic, where accessible choruses, contemporary production and lyrics often anchored in everyday life intersect. Andreas Odbjerg refines this format on the Lance Armstrong EP in 2020, then on the albums Hjem fra fabrikken in 2022 and Un hommage in 2024. Among the titles that have marked his path are Føler mig selv 100, I morgen er der også en dag and Hjem fra fabrikken, as well as several collaborations widening his visibility, notably Stor mand with Tobias Rahim and Jeg ka' rigtig godt li' dig with Ida Laurberg. On stage as in the studio, Andreas Odbjerg evolves in a supple pop register, between chanson, Nordic variety and light electronic touches.
