SAVEUS

Behind the SAVEUS project is Danish singer-songwriter Martin Hoberg Hedegaard, born in Ørum in central Jutland. Spotted at a young age on the national pop scene, he won the first edition of Denmark’s X Factor in 2008 and released the album “Show the World” that same year under the name Martin, before gradually withdrawing from the media spotlight. SAVEUS emerged in the mid-2010s as a new chapter—darker and more personal—where Martin Hoberg Hedegaard developed a blend of alternative pop, soul-influenced elements and electronic textures. SAVEUS tracks are notable for a prominently placed vocal, gospel-inspired choirs, straightforward melodic writing and often cinematic moods that alternate between intimate passages and denser climaxes. Backed by a tight live setup, SAVEUS first established itself on the Danish scene and gradually expanded its activity across Northern Europe through club shows, festival appearances and regular single and EP releases that over the years refined the project’s sonic identity.
