Judiciary

Born in Lubbock, Texas, Judiciary has been operating since 2013 in a musical space between hardcore punk, metalcore, crossover thrash and thrash metal. The Texas quintet first surfaced with Demo '14 in 2014 and refined its approach on the EP The Axis of Equality (2016) and a split with Canadian band Mortality Rate (2017). Judiciary then joined the Closed Casket Activities label and released their debut album Surface Noise in 2019, which established a tense, frontal formula driven by fast riffs, hardcore-derived rhythmic breaks and thrash-tinged songwriting. In 2023 the band issued Flesh + Blood, produced and recorded by Arthur Rizk with mix and mastering by Will Putney, marking a move toward a denser sound without abandoning its hardcore foundations. Anchored in the American heavy scene, Judiciary occupies a line where punk energy and metal precision meet directly, without stylistic detours.
