Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band

Under the stage name Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, American musician Ryan Davis develops an Americana project originating from Louisville, Kentucky, now based in Jeffersonville, Indiana. After several years with the group State Champion, whose most recent release dates to 2018, Ryan Davis chose to refocus his work on a more personal approach, composing alone and deepening his practice on several instruments. This transition resulted in a first studio album, Dancing on the Edge, released in 2023 under the name Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, where folk, indie rock and country heritage intersect in writing that is both narrative and intimate. Alongside his artistic projects, Ryan Davis founded the Sophomore Lounge label and co‑founded the Cropped Out festival, anchoring Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band in an American independent network attentive to alternative scenes. In 2025, Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band continued this trajectory with a second album, New Threats from the Soul, which extends this Americana approach in the studio as well as on stage.
