Aiko el grupo

Formed in Madrid at the turn of 2020, Aiko el Grupo develops a concise, direct songwriting style, led by a trio around Teresa Iñesta, Lara Miera and Bárbara López. The project sits at the crossroads of indie pop, melodic punk and noise guitars, featuring fast tracks, catchy choruses and a tone that mixes apparent naivety, dry humor and outspoken irritation. Aiko el Grupo began circulating on the Spanish indie scene with the 2020 EP Va totalmente en serio..., then refined the formula on Me están apuntando con un arma, released in 2023, where the writing gains clarity without losing the urgency of their early work. In 2024, Aiko el Grupo released the EP A tomar por culo on Primavera Labels, in a rougher, tighter vein. Between nervous chamber pop, garage energy and DIY spirit, Aiko el Grupo has established itself in the Spanish indie circuits with a concise, lively and instantly recognizable sonic identity.
