Direct, concise and to the point. That’s the kind of songs Aiko el Grupo writes — a fun, distinctive and sparkling band on the current scene, formed in Madrid by Teresa Iñesta (guitar and vocals), Lara Miera (guitar and vocals) and Bárbara López (keyboard and vocals).
With their sharp, irreverent lyrics — tinged with a touch of naivety but with an unmistakable bite — their high-energy, entertaining live shows and an overflowing attitude, they have carved out a place on the national independent scene since they landed in 2020 with Va totalmente en serio... In 2023 they released their first full-length, Me están apuntando con un arma, where they develop the same bold approach, precise in both message and form, and in 2024 they presented A tomar por culo, a new EP released by Primavera Labels, rawer and more mature, which anticipates a new phase that will culminate in 2026 with a new studio album.
