Beatrice Egli

Born in Pfäffikon in the canton of Schwyz in 1988, Swiss singer Beatrice Egli is part of the tradition of schlager and German-language pop. After beginnings on local stages and several television appearances, she gained wider visibility in 2013 by winning the tenth season of the German show Deutschland sucht den Superstar, which marked a turning point in her career. From then on, Beatrice Egli released a series of studio albums — Glücksgefühle (2013), Bis hierher und viel weiter (2014), Kick im Augenblick (2016), Wohlfühlgarantie (2018), Natürlich! (2019) and Balance (2023) — that established a repertoire focused on rhythmic songs, immediate choruses and ballads carried by a clear voice. Her style blends traditional schlager conventions, contemporary pop structures and touches of light folk, with German-language lyrics about relationships, everyday life and a generally optimistic imagination. Mainly active in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, she alternates tours, appearances on variety shows and festival stages, and occasionally works as a TV host, which anchors her in the German-language entertainment-music scene.
