ATB

Under the name ATB, André Tanneberger has been developing an electronic project since the late 1990s, born in Freiberg, Saxony, after an initial period with the group Sequential One. Initially associated with melodic trance and eurodance, ATB became known in 1998 with "9 PM (Till I Come)", a track built around a guitar motif that marked his early productions. ATB's music combined clear melodic lines, dance rhythms and more atmospheric passages, before evolving toward a smoother progressive trance with elements of house and chillout. This trajectory can be heard on albums such as Movin’ Melodies (1999), Two Worlds (2000), Dedicated (2002), and later Distant Earth (2011), Contact (2014) and neXt (2017). As a producer and DJ, ATB alternates studio releases, mixes and tours on club and festival stages across Europe and North America, with a repertoire spanning vocal tracks, instrumentals and more contemplative formats.
