Art Of Fighters

Art Of Fighters is a hardcore project that originated in Brescia in northern Italy. It formed in the late 1990s around Cristian Nardelli, Simone Burato and Luca Baldi, before continuing mainly as a duo. Linked to the Italian gabber and hardcore scene around the Traxtorm Records label, Art Of Fighters developed a fast, percussive sound often tinted with dark atmospheres, dramatic melodies and references to cinema, pop culture and horror film music. The group first attracted attention through a series of maxi singles and tracks on specialised compilations, then released EPs and 12-inch records throughout the 2000s and 2010s, while expanding collaborations with other Italian and Dutch hardcore producers. Regularly booked for hardcore nights and festivals across Europe, Art Of Fighters sits within an aesthetic that blends a direct dancefloor structure, memorable hooks and cinematic atmospheres, with particular attention to storytelling and contrasts in their tracks.
