Cari Lekebusch

Born in 1972 and based in Stockholm, Cari Lekebusch has been part of the Swedish electronic scene since the early 1990s, initially as a member of the SweMix remix collective before developing a solo body of work centered on techno. His music moves between techno‑funk, industrial groove, acid touches and incursions closer to electro or hip‑hop, with a marked taste for dry rhythms and dark textures. He has released under his own name and numerous aliases, and founded his own label H. Productions, originally called Hybrid Productions. He has collaborated with several producers associated with the Scandinavian scene, including Adam Beyer, Robert Leiner, Alexi Delano, Thomas Krome, Jesper Dahlbäck and Joel Mull. His discography notably includes Det Jag Vet (1999), Chaos & Order (2000) and The Architect (2004), as well as Prophecies under the alias Mystic Letter K (2005). Active both in clubs and at festivals, Cari Lekebusch has built a lasting career spanning DJ sets, maxi singles and albums, remaining committed to a direct, physical and detailed techno.
